To be completely honest part of the reason I got into creative work was to get away from trading my time for money. I used to tier my packages by the hour but it always felt like that was the main focus rather than their idea of what the film could be. My aim is to create a piece for you to resonate with and cherish.

Video moves at a different pace than photography so being constrained by an hourly time isn’t the most efficient use of time always. With that being said, we would just chat about what parts of the day mean most to you guys & then come up with a rough idea of what the day would look like with me there! But you can expect a minimum of 7 hours for a traditional wedding day, & up to 10 hours if needed.

A typical wedding day flys by & with all of the wedding day activities it limits the time you guys get alone. So for some couples it seems to make sense (or sounds fun lol) to meet up at a cool location and get some footage of just the two of you before the wedding day. Or you guys can even put your wedding attire back on and we can go somewhere after your wedding day. I’ve been able to do this a good handful of times in the past and it always added a really nice element into the video and their story. It also allows us to be more creative together with the best lighting.

Throughout the day I am constantly recording and pausing to capture all of the fun moments of your wedding. The Raw footage is a very simple video of all of those random recordings all put together on a timeline. It’s nothing fancy, nothing super edited, but it is the bare bones of your wedding day. Many people decided they want all of the “behind the scenes.” If that’s you, this is the add on you want.

A second videographer adds another perspective to the wedding and can ease the stress when there is a situation that requires me to be in two places at once. There are numerous reasons why I think it’s a great investment to make, so please get in touch and we can chat further.

D R O N E F O O T A G E ?

Flying my drone to gather establishing shots of the scenery and venue is one of my favorite things to do on your wedding day. It is definitely one of my top priorities because I truly think it sets up the video by showing a view no one really gets to have. The only reason I wouldn’t fly my drone at your wedding is if the weather doesn’t allow or if we are too close to a “no-fly” zone.

Choosing the music is actually part of my craft. I tend to pick music the fits with the vibe and emotion of that day. Audio in a film is extremely important and it’s most of the time a 'make or break' thing. Ultimately this is your video, so if you have some good ideas about the music you'd like, I'd be happy to see if we could license that song.
